Convicted robber challenges deportation A convicted robber who attacked his victims while they walked alone at night won the right to make a High Court challenge over a decision to deport him.
Jude Sealey, from Guyana, can launch a fresh appeal because his British girlfriend is pregnant. The judge, Mr Justice Underhill, ruled it was "arguable" that the Home Office acted "irrationally" in refusing to let Sealey launch a new claim.
Sealey was sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison in 2003 for robberies in Putney in South London. |
