A Christian lobbying group has won an important victory for decency and common sense. The Advertising Standards Agency have investigated and upheld a complaint by Christian pro-life group LifeLeague against the Gay Police Association an appalling bigoted advertisement that appeared in The Independent, 29.09.06.

The advert carried a picture of the Bible and a pool of blood implying that Christians were responsible for physical attacks on gay men and women.
