Now it becomes more and more clear that the present leadership of Georgia gears itself for short victorious war against unrecognized neighboring republics. Confirmation of this view comes from constant and gross provocations that Georgian military carry out in the Kodori Valley, for example.
It is common knowledge that this Valley is regularly fired from the territory of Georgia. Military have concentrated additional artillery groups and Special Task Forces of Georgian Armed Forces and created numerous special block posts there.
And in order to draw attention of Georgian people from such direct military preparations for active actions against its neighbors Georgian commanders decided to organize the next provocation on the border with Abkhazia. As was reported by Georgian Deputy Defense Minister, military helicopter Mi-24 was crashed as a result of firing from Abkhazian territory during its taxiing to Kodori Gorge.
But it is nonsense because due to official data, appeared in the press, the helicopter was fallen far from any localities or military objects. That is why it couldn’t be fired by Abkhazian troops. Georgian authorities simply decided to shift the blame for poor maintenance of its military equipment on their hateful neighbors…
