| Three cheers for the Swiss who are"Keeping out the black sheep" Liberal leftists across Europe have been quick to condemn plans by Switzerland's largest political party to deport families of immigrant criminals. The nationalist Swiss People's party (SVP), which shares power in the governing coalition, has proposed new legislation that would see entire families of immigrants deported if their children are convicted of crimes involving violence, drugs or benefit fraud. Ueli Maurer, the People's party president, said: "We believe that parents are responsible for bringing up their children. If they can't do it properly, they will have to bear the consequences." "As soon as the first 10 families and their children have been expelled from the country, then things will get better at a stroke," Mr Maurer said.
Referendum
The proposals have to be initially backed by 100,000 signatures which will then allow the plans to be submitted to a national referendum and early counters suggest a majority of voters will back the scheme. The plans have been condemned as “Nazi” by the multiculturalists and a poster campaign supporting the plans has bizarrely, but not unsurprisingly been called “racist”. It refers to the centuries old phrase “black sheep of the family”; a term which has its origins in the medieval wool trade where black wool was regarded as cheap and of inferior quality.
The SVP claims foreigners, who make up about 20% of the Swiss population, are four times more likely to commit crimes than Swiss nationals. Using official Swiss Police statistics, the SVP have demonstrated that immigrants commit 85.5% of all rapes, 66% of all extortion, 55.5% of all murders and 52.7% of assaults. If the Swiss scheme gets the go ahead from Swiss voters it is a beacon of hope for the rest of the continent, as it demonstrates that at long last the people are speaking and acting against the pernicious disease of liberalism. Let's trust that other countries follow the Swiss lead.
What is needed is for the public to demand official police statistics in the UK to be shown to them. Then perhaps those that thought immigration was good for this country would see exactly how good, it isn't. |
