English taxpayers will subsidise university tuition fees for the children of asylum seekers in Scotland, it was has been announced.


Nationalist leaders in Edinburgh said they will extend free higher education to the offspring of foreigners seeking political asylum in Scotland.

It means English students who wish to study north of the border will have to pay for the privilege while asylum seekers will have their schooling fully funded.....
