Hello. i wanted peoples oppinion about the following situation which happened to me in a hospital waiting area last week.
i was sitting in the waiting area of the hospital a&e dept when in walked a muslim man and woman dressed in a full burkha( i think thats how you spell it) with i assumed was there daughter and another female who turnned out to be the translator as neither parent could speak english. the girl who was about 6 or 7 had a swollen ankle which looked like a sprain or break and was crying, understanderbly. I was shocked when she went straight to the top of the que infront of 4 white people and one was an o.a.p
simply because the interpreter asked for this now is this fair or what as i dont think it is
i know she needed treatment but come on i bet neither of her parents had paid any money into the government ie national insurance or tax yet they have as much rights to nhs as someone who has paid in for years how is this fair. if you aint paid in you shouyldnt take out period.
