I've been reading posts on this site for a while and thought it was time to join and occasionally add my two-pennyworth (I'm showing my age with that comment).

I don't owe allegiance to any particular party or doctrine and think that all honestly held opinions should be respected, but I also believe that those who lean too far to the left or right risk losing their balance and falling over.
