Redwell West byelection The following quote is from the BNP website, and serves as a caution to anyone who thinks that either the UKIP or the Greens are somehow a match for the mighty BNP: Earlier this evening, in a first time effort in a Northamptonshire town never before even leafleted by the Party, our candidate took 15.7% of the vote and second place! The by-election, held in Wellingborough’s Redwell West Ward - a Tory stronghold - saw the Labour Party pushed into third place by BNP candidate Dave Robinson. The result for Wellingborough Borough Council’s Redwell West Ward was: 1. Con. 665 (59.0%)
2. BNP 177 (15.7%)
3. Lab 169 (15.0%)
4. Lib-Dem 40 (3.5%)
5. UKIP 39 (3.5%)
6. Green 37 (3.3%) The turnout was an amazing 47.1% |
