I'm Hafke. I'm a seventeen year old history and politics student from Dublin. I've been obsessed with politics for as long as I can remember and this forum looks like a lot of fun.

My politics are a bit complicated. I consider myself a feminist, but I'm feeling increasingly alienated from the mainstream feminist movement. I'm pro-choice and gay rights, but the anti-Israel, anti-US and anti-capitalism parts of these movements seem to be integral, and I don't want to be assiciated with that.

I'm pro-immigration, as long as they behave themselves, which the vast majority do. I'm disgusted by the fact that the guards are refusing to prosecute people who practise FGM, on the grounds that "their culture should be respected". That's just racism. On the other hand, I'm against interfering in other countries' politics. It's not our business and we have enough to deal with in our own countries. Keep out of places like China and Africa!
