On 4 May 2008, the music writer and occasional DJ, Simon Price, said this in The Independent: Quote:
I've been mugged three times in London... Every time, the perpetrators were young, male and black. On the third and most serious occasion, I was clubbed on the head with a metal bar, dragged into an alley, and held with a knife to my neck by one guy while his accomplice raided £500 from my bank account...
The progressive thing to do is, if not write it off as a statistical blip, at least place it in the context of wider sociological factors... As a committed anti-racist I was shocked to find myself flinching every time a young black male passed me in the street.

Price's commentary was set against the Love Music Hate Racism Carnival, which was held in Victoria Park, London just before the 1 May 2008 Mayoral elections.
His I-refuse-to-think-ill-of-a-brute-if-it's-black attitude continues thus:

This oh-so-virtuous PC lemming would rather die at the hands of a gang of feral, black youths than take action against them. More to the point, he would rather WE die than have US take action against them!
And if we do take action? If we dare to suggest that action should be taken even? We are racist, fascist, neo-Nazi, bigoted etc. etc. etc.
In Price's article, he does not bother to tell us why we should defer thus to the non-indigenous criminal. Nor does he try to explain why the British people should acquiesce in their own quiet genocide.
Price hasn't just betrayed the innocent British millions who have been forced to suffer precisely similar brutality. He has betrayed his ancestors too. Did they work so hard, sacrifice so much and die so bravely in countless wars so that Price's generation could make a mockery of their courage and sacrifice?
The Simon Prices will always be determinedly oblivious of the fact that it is the behaviour of the alien that has, of late, forced so many millions to quit the land of their forefathers. Nor will they ever admit that the wars our ancestors fought and died in were arranged by the same dark powers who encouraged the alien hordes to come here and "swamp" us in the first place.
What we can all be sure of is this: if you want to know who self-righteously berates the British man, as he marches in memory of a Brit who did NOT survive being "clubbed on the head with a metal bar", look no further than this.
The sanctimonious tolerance of the Simon Prices in the face of the bestial outsider, coupled with their detestation of anyone who would feter that beast's aggressive nature, adequately sums up the insane, self-loathing society that the PC Crowd has inflicted upon us in recent times.
Price's acceptance of the criminality to which he, himself, was subjected also tells us what he would have our children and grandchildren endure for his own pseudo-intellectual vision of the futute to be made flesh.
The feral alien has contributed children, chaos and monumental unhappiness to our society. Other than this, he has given us almost nothing.
Given the chance, however, he will take everything.
The Prices would grant him that chance.
Simon Price is, according to his MySpace page, a Welshman living in Brighton.
He tells us that he was "a communist a 13", "firebombed a church" at 15 and "once wrote, 'in any sense that matters, I am a woman'."
Price, who hosts an alternative club night in Camden Town called Stay Beautiful, also tells us that he is "not like other guys".
You can say that again, Simon.
Along with the rest of those who would do nothing to prevent the bad man from brutalising the good, you are, indeed, not like other guys.
