London mayor Boris Johnson announced today he will launch an independent inquiry into allegations of sexual misconduct against deputy mayor Ray Lewis.

Ray Lewis now faces an investigation into the claims, which he said are 'totally unfounded'.
Boris Johnson's deputy dismissed allegations of sexual misconduct as 'complete rubbish" and "an attempt to smear me".
Lewis said there was a 'growing conspiracy' and claimed that someone had a 'vendetta' against him'
He added:' If you go around looking for every spot and blemish you will see that I am not Jesus Christ.'.............
