VANDALS daubed racist and obscene graffiti across the walls of a Baptist church in a picturesque, rural village two days in a row.

Slogans proclaiming "black powa!" and offensive swear words apparently insulting white people were scrawled on the side of Georgeham Baptist Church in North Devon.

The attack in the quiet, historic village, which was mentioned in the Domesday Book, has shocked and horrified residents who cannot understand why their church would be targeted by racists....
