In my role as Junior Admin and in consultation with Albion and Dougie I have made some changes to update the forum, providing boards for easier loacation and thread placement, as well as more diverse subjects. This is somewhat of a test period so to ease the way I will outline some of the changes, both those implemented and those planned.
Outline of new board on Politics:
General Discussion Forum - Located in Members Lounge, for all those off topic, non political threads. Differs from 'The Other Place' as normal forum rules apply.
Media - Located in General Politics and Political Issues forum, Pretty much as described, for all media related discussions whether bias or ownership ... TV or Newspapers.
War on Terror - Located in Relations, Disputes and Conflicts. Intention for this board is obvious.
Nuclear Proliferation and WMD - Located in Relations, Disputes and Conflicts. Altered from WMDs to include debate on proliferation.
Philosophy - Located in Political History Ideology and Milestones. All philosophical debates to take place here.
New boards - Economic, Business and Technology - Now provide seperate forums for discussions + sub-forums for IMF and World Bank (sub forums may be moved at later date)
Planned Changes
Mods have been discussing new boards to include and will shortly add an area for Hobbies, Interests and Sports.
Political History Ideology and Milestones will be updated to include forums/sub forums for religious debates, ethics, history, Ideologies + more.
I would ask all members to make use of the Suggestions and Feedback Forum Suggestions and Feedback - Politics Forum and Political Blog discussing and debating political and social issues. if they have any comments. Requests can be made (for review by Mods/Admin) for new boards.
Thanks you
Tete
