The tax band in Wales came into effect on 1 April 2005 based on the value of your property worth on 1 April 2003. I have received a letter dated 3 June 2008 informing me my tax band had moved from B to C. No alterations have been done to my property to improve its value to trigger this.
Is this a way for local authorities to generate more revenue?
Has anybody else had this happen to them?
