View Full Version : Isn't some racism just useful

Surely splitting anything or group of things into subsections with different names is useful and makes logical sense. Imagine how difficult it would be for a doctor to diagnose an ailment if there where no such things as foot and stomach, and no different treatments for each body part. Not that I am condoning being rude or persecuting any set of people because of their attributes. But, it is likely that if somebody has logically created these subsets in their own mind (for navigation of the world) and they are more than likely going to generalise about these groups they may in turn appear 'racist'.

Whether we like it or not both subdividision and generalisation are something we all do when processing information and have become fundemental in the development of artificial intelligence systems and neural networks which will someday hopefully be similar to humans.

So called anti-racists seem to understand every aspect of pandering to people with different colured skins, but than expect everyone with 'different coloured brains' and ideas to be brainwashed into irrational drones who merely service various colours of people.

The human brain and human ideas are a far more wondrous and complicated than the melanin based black body radiation system of the skin. So why should people who merely speak about their own ideas about statistics (which are deemed racist) be so readily categorised, persecuted and descriminated against.

Agro is agro whatever you use as a device or dividing line to justify it.

No I can't say that I agree racism is ever useful.

Debating another person view is completely different to discriminating against somebody purely because their ethnicity, colour or race.

No it isn't. I may put the needs of my own people above the needs of others, that in turn may make me a racist in some peoples eyes but in my eyes definitely not. The stupid ideals of our culturally marxist friends on the left who think we are all equal is just so far from the truth it just aint funny.

Hello G,
Any form of racism is wrong,This is a concept we have to establish in our head before we move on to the pragmatism of life.It may seem OK in feudal and medevial age but in an enlightened world it should be the notion of one race ,The Human race.We will always want a familarilty to stick to,but love of humanity is a passport to kindness and mutual existance.
We must not seek to live at the disadvantage of others,as racists often seem to do.Evaluate all human beigns by his conduct not by his appearance .

We must not seek to live at the disadvantage of others

Can you tell me in western society where that philosophy is practised and actually works?

Hello G,
In all my dealings I try to keep the focus on mutual benefits and happiness
that can be derived by trading with anyone and not to make his circumstances any worse at my expense.
It is not one of any society or group of which I am not a part ,but of a concious human being who do not like suffering of any human(race not a factor).

Hello CitizenSmith
Thanks for your compliments. It is always an easy option find differiences when we should be looking at the commonality in us all.Our needs are always the same, our wants is what divides us.

Is it not just a quirk of history that we choose to define ourselves by race as opposed to eye/hair colour, nose size , for example?

Maybe the first step in stopping racism is to not be so focused on race (full stop).

Just a thought

Racism is primitive. Like aggression and violence. It happens. But this does not mean it should not be stamped out.

I can't see how it could be useful except for parties like the BNP. BNP members just love to be outraged by some sensationalist nonsense.
