| It is not the case of ours. Did you hear it? According to recent reports of in local press the next set of secret documents, contained secret information about money laundering, drug trafficking, terrorist financing and activities of Al-Qaida, was discovered in our British commuter train! It is reported that the folder with secret papers was found in the train, coming from Waterloo station in London to the county of Surrey as far back as June. But the information about it has not been published at that date because of reasons of state security. Moreover, Brown’s Cabinet has not confined yet what department should bear a loss of these documents!
Maybe, this can be explained by the facts that it is not exactly the first time when our functionaries lose so important information, dealt with our national security. For example, at the end of last year our tax-collectors discovered the disappearance of 2 disks with electronic data about financial status of 25 million Britons. Then, in January high-level official from our War Office lost the computer, which contained confidential data for UK Navy recruits…
I don’t know why, but all this conveys the suggestion that in reality Brown’s government doesn’t suit not only some forces inside this country, but also out of the bounds of it. And that is why it was made all possible to discredit Brown’s Cabinet. I tell you more.
I suggest that tricks with sudden disappearance of secret documents from our Departments might be organized by our US allies… Yes, it sounds fishy, but only if you do not realize what touch-and-go games our overseas friends play now in the world. There is no secret that now Washington is tangled in rather problematic situations all over the world. Certainly it needs our active support there. But to all seeming Mr. Brown doesn’t want to discredit UK reputation in the world only for reasons of solidarity with our US allies. And I think the latest loss of confidential information is directly connected with rather low-key Brown’s support of Washington’s political line towards Georgian Republic, whose leadership has tries to solve its national problems by force recently. But in this case I fully agree with Brown’s opinion. Why should we do things that may have negative consequences for our economy and our people? Friends are OK when their responsibilities are equal. But it is not the case of ours. |
