Trevor Phillips, the chairman of Commission for Equalities and Human Rights, said that one of the causes of knife crime was a lack of integration for refugee children who had witnessed untold horrors in their early lives.

He said: "There is a very specific issue for some minority communities in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds. We have had a generation of refugee children who have come from unimaginable levels of violence, absolutely terrifying situations..........

Trevor phillips is another one who should be sacked. In a roundabout sort of way he is saying that the victims are expendable and should be expected to pay the ultimate price for integrating ungrateful blacks from Africa into britain. And if he is so concerned about the welfare of Africans why doesnt he go out to Africa and help them there? NO AFRICAN REFUGEES = NO AFRICAN REFUGEE KNIFE CRIME or is that to simple a logic for people in government and unelected quangos like the CRE.

Curiously, Mr. Phillips does not explain what made these Africans’ countries of origin violent in the first place; perhaps violence merely falls out of the sky upon Africa.
It is a sad, sick notion that the failure of these tribal primitives to thrive in England is somehow the fault of native Britons . It is an altogether common view among liberals, however.
