No - just why???
Does it?
Its web site would indicate otherwise - not a party but just as it was founded an ego trip for people who were a liability in their own right, Religious Nutters, Tango salesmen (though to be fair Kilroy Slik has asked more questions in the EU's pretend parliament than all of the EUkip MEPs put together, since he has been there - as had Ashley Mote).
At least Kilroy Slik has not actively betrayed his Country, his electorate in The East Midlands, EUkip and all who voted for in such a self seeking, corrupt, dishonest, underhand and treacherous way as Derek Clarke MEP EUkip. who not only boasted of his fraud and fiddling of expenses to a public audience, but then set up a Kangarroo Court to attack the elected Regional Chairman of his party and colluded with the then EUkip Secretary the idiotic Douglas Denny who has done so much to drag EUkip's reputation in the gutter with him and the hapless and none too bright Gerald Batten MEP EUkip where the three of them dishonestly colluded to subvert due process and common Justice for their own gain.
Clarke compounds this sort of behaviour with near invisibility in his constituency as he tours EUrope with his wife at the publics expense - he has tried to explain away hit treacherous betrayal of Britain whereby he colluded and signed an agreement for the pro EU Ind.Dem.Group of which he and EUkip are members with Rumania to seek to increase the subsidiarity of these United Kingdoms to control by the corrupt centralised EUropean soviet and to work with the EU on its committees to improve it!!
A staggering betrayal by someone who was elected to campaign for Britain and the British people! Worse is yet to come - last week in Strasbourg THE LEADER of EUkip's group in the EU Parliament made a speech calling for Britain to be refused its rebate and that it was unfair that Britain got money back from the EU and was thus, he claimed, subsidised by poorer Countries like Rumania.
EUkip may well have one of the MEPs it had elected in prison and one defected and several others under investigation but for the damage they are doing one is tempted to believe these United Kingdoms would be best served if they were all in prison until 2009!
You originally asked 'Does Veritas deserve to exist' to which realistically the answer should be 'Does it matter no one noticed and they are irrelevant'.
The more important question is 'Does EUkip desrve to exist?' to which clearly the answer is no, not with the utterly corrupt leadership it has who have, not content in jointly embroilling themselves in cover-ups of fraud, embezzlement, theft, dishonesty and corruption, have gone native and are actively assisting the EU AGAINST the interests of Britain.'
Clarke knows his first attempt to weedle out of his betrayal was utterly implausible to his Regional committee and no one but an idiot believed him that he is now trying to inconvenience the entire committee to try and have another go - as if they were the children he used to impress years ago before he retired. He wants the committee to change its standard meeting dates to suit him and treating them like idiots give them his whole pathetic excuse again!
What a disgrace EUkip are under their present bunch of rascals.
Perhaps even Kilroy Slik would be an improvement! There may be hope for the hapless Veritas yet!

This would be a good party for people to support if they want out of the EU, accept that the UKIP is a spent force, and can't bring themselves to vote for the BNP.
In other words, don't write it off just yet.

I don't know anything about Veritas, but I think that ANY party deserves to exist. If a party doesn't deserve to exist, then that means that the government has the right to ban its existence. You don't want to put yourself onto a road of the government banning certain political parties. It may sound like a good idea when it's some obscure party, but just wait until they come for yours.

You have a pretty fair point, perhaps the question should have been, "Why do people allow
themselves to be tricked and manipulated into voting for this (third Party) when in reality,
they stand as much chance of ever getting elected as Adolf Hilter?".This time around will
result in a very different outcome. Those semi/marginals which have gone their way since
1997 will this time be a real three Horse race. The biggest squeeze on votes will be the Lib
/Dems in fact I can see them ending up like they were in the 1980s with a total of 14/16

Veritas Party (http://www.veritasparty.com/party.html)
The Annual General Meeting for 2008 will be held on Sunday 26th October.
Therese Muchewicz
Acting Party Leader
===================================
It would seem that Sunday 26 October will be "Crunch point" for Veritas, a lack of interest from it's members, and willing volunteers for officers could result in Veritas folding and a merger into an existing party could be the result.
UKIP, Conservatives, English Democrats ?
I wonder which one Kilroy would prefer ?
