As in any war, civilians get killed. In the Lebanon War of 1982, Israeli Defense Minister was forced to resign after the massacre in Sabra and Shatila. The Israeli inquiry committe concluded that Sharon is indirectrly responsible for the deaths of some 800 innocent men women and children in those camps.

It is my opinion that President Bush and the American forces in Iraq are indirectly responsible for every civilian fatality there. They are liable to instill order and security and fail to do so. Consequently the rivalling militias continute do slaughter innocent civilians on a day to day basis.

Ariel Sharon to his last day refuse to acknowledge his responsibility for what happened in Sarbra and Shatila. As an Israeli, I am proud that he was forced to resign. The inquiry committe was formed as a result of a public outcry never seen in Israel, and its peak was the 400,000 rally in which the demand was made to investigate Israel's responsiblity.

Unfortunately, most Americans are too patriotic to even consider the possibility that because they fail to insure security and order in Iraq, they bear reaponsibility for every civilian fatality, even if the direct cause for it is a suicide bomber or a terror attack.

G'day Sabra,

I have documents of massacre's by the U.S. military, of which I can lead you to if you wish.

Bush should be tried for war crimes, his administration should be jailed forthwith.

If this does not happen in the very near future they will drag us into a third world war. the ramifications of this "invasion" is very serious, critical.

Most of the U.S. military go into action drug crazed and inebriated with power! Not good.

Sometimes it's hard to tell who is the enemy. What nationality is that person hiding inside that mask ?

I agree with you Ian. And pressure must be applied to Bush and his administration to stop their warmongering. Don't buy anything made in the USA. Put an embargo on all US goods.

The third world war is already being tested, the 'international' war on terrorism, and one of the testing grounds for the Military, among others, is Afghanistan. Since 1968 N.Ireland, through the manipulation of religions, has been used as a 'training base' in the area of 'urban and city gorilla warfare'. And the same tactics are being used in Iraq to assure civil unrest for a very long time. At least thats how I see it.

your right bush and members of his administration (and all that came before him) deserve to go to jail but crimes are those that others commit, we dont investigate our own crimes. after ww2 we had to try the nazis but there were no laws which made what they did illegal, the were made up after this is post-facto law, and how we did this was is the nazis did something that the allieds didnt then it was made illegal, this is why it isnt illegal to bomb civillian centers.
so i doubt that these guys will ever go to jail.

Ex President Clinton faced trial for hiding truth about his relationship. Present President misguided not only Americans but the whole world that Iraq possesses weapons of Mass Destruction. Is this not enough for 'Impeachment'?

Sigh your claim only works if they ordered, condoned, or didnt try to prevent it. Since they prosecuted soldiers, openly condenmed it, and give training against it then i do not see how your logic works. Soldiers are still human and possess the loss of reasoning that comes along w/ith war. This isnt an excuse but blaming bush because we dont live in candy land where everyone is good and people do exactly what they are told.

As for a third world war, Iran already on thin ice. I guess i am not selfish and accept the fact that if need be i might need to help out this country. I wont make excuses for not righting obvious wrongs.
