After the British Troops are temporarily removed from their duties overseas, can you please make sure the British Troops are not sent back into N.Ireland.
As you are aware, civil unrest was required to justify their occupation for the last 30+ years in N.Ireland. It just amazes me how a societies stability can be adjusted to suite a governments agenda.

I think the problem sounds similar to the one in Iraq.
Remove the troops, remove the unrest.
Most of it, anyway.

I doubt that Dorian. Iraq/Mesopotamia has been engulfed in violence for centuries. A lot of Iraqis will applaud the US leaving and stop attacking US troops, but it will certainly not end the violence, nor even curb it that much.
Whew, I'm sorry. I didn't realize until now how old these threads are.

You really are trying to show how uninformed you really are when you state that British troops were "Occupying Northern Ireland" Just how do you justify that word, bearing in mind that Northern Ireland is an integral part of the United Kingdom. The British army is made of of regiments from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland so you wording shows a great degree of ignorance. You comment is like saying American troops should not go to Hawaii or Arizona. If you are trying to put your big foot into your mouth, you sure have succeeded.

That's because Iraq has been full of different ethnicities strugglying to achieve domination over a region deem to be fit to be called a region. I am quite certain if we just divide Iraq, then everything would be okay except in Sunni Iraq, unless we make it part of Saudi Arabia.
