Pluto has lost its "planet status".

good, I believe this is the right decision, the alternative of adding extra planets was unworkable, within a hundred years we could have over a thousand planets in our solar system alone.

It does muck up my song to remember the names though, anyone thought of a new one?

Yes.One astronomer was not happy about 12 planets,in our Solar System, because he had discovered some 40 odd bodies, similar to Pluto and its clone, recently discovered, which, some were trying to label a "Planet".
Here are some of the reactions of the people who also matter.

Well Pluto is still a planet, only not a full ized one. Think of a mini sub-breed of a dog. Same breed and still a dog, only not full size. :)

A dog is a dog big or small, not so planets,if the Astronomers are to be believed!

Who said tiny(!),Pluto doesn;t have supporters?
Some astronomers are rebellious and want to restore order. Please read the material in the link.

I wonder at the fuss. Who cares if it is a planet or not? The only difference it would make is if it dissapeared in a puff of green cosmic dust.

Other than that it is where it has allways been, doing what it allways does. You could call it a banana, it would not change that fact.
