An exhibition by a Bangladeshi-British photographer has been 'censored' by officials amid fears that an image of a semi-naked woman would offend a Muslim audience.
Syra Miah, 29, said the message behind her show on Bangladesh had been undermined by the move which came just days after the show was unveiled to the public.
The Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery said it had been advised that the image, shown as part of the work included in the Art and Islam exhibition, could offend Muslims.
