Muslim women could soon be offered a burka-style gown in NHS hospitals.
Doctors fear that many do not seek treatment because the standard issue gowns are not modest enough.
The Inter-Faith Gown is being piloted at the Royal Preston Hospital.
It reveals only the hands and eyes and has been introduced following claims from Muslim women that the regulation dress was too revealing and therefore contrary to their faith.

Well if these muslim women are such unadulterated whores that they can not be trusted not to run of with every porter that comes along unless covered head to toe, then.....

I agree.....But who in their right mind would try to cop off with a Muslim woman, they all have bad breath and all are as hairy as Mighty Joe Young.
For some srange reason they always remind me of a tree sloth........

This seems like a pretty crazy idea. Don't they realise they are going to be stripped off when lying unconcious on a operating table?

Maybe the idea turns them on in some way?

One of my friends is muslim and I find these comments deeply offensive. Muslim women wear these clothes not to stop themselves being attracted to men but so as not to distract men. Don't you think this is a good idea in a hospital enviroment?

I think THAT proves my point somewhat.
Obviously European men have more self control.

No, it doesn't prove your point. You are saying that Muslim women cannot be trusted not to run off with a porter, and I am saying that Muslim women cover themselves up so as not to distract men who could be attracted to them.
And so you suggest we deny this religious right? This will bring greater isolation for Muslims-just what they need!

Exactly. If they could be trusted, there is NO REASON to fear that men will be atracted to them.
In the normal world we trust our women. And our men are civilised enough in general, not to be driven to the point of distraction at the sight of a bare ankle.
It is only people with VERY low self confidence that need this "covering up".

Aye, there is something about it, in a perverse sort of way.
Now it's got me really curious. There is lots more fun in a wrapped package, than after it is opened. :D
Wonder what she is wearing under it? DAMN that is going to distract me all day now!

True there is lots more fun to a wrapped package, and suspender belts etc would underneath would do the business for me personally.Alas as Rachel wrote they don't shave underarm only the vaginal areas. While this is OK when
growing back[i remember my wife after childbirth]the underarm thing would put me right off.Thats presuming i could stop laughing at the get up in the first place.Come to think of it old beardy himself might be burka'd up to evade
the Americans,so if you are out hot for cousin it lookalikes and a six foot four
awkward looking bird makes sheeps heads at you "BEWARE" it might be Osama
wanting to dip his wick!.Ask if they have a seagulls welly seen as they don't
believe in birth control it could be your only chance.Although his suicide bomber entorage would put me right off, that and the beard!!!!!!!!!

Well thats a welcome suprise,as i thought O.B.L. and his pals had monopoly
over facial hair. The longer meaning that you were more crazy a terrorist,it's
nice to hear of a European with a beard and it not having any significance.
Either politically or criminally, sometimes though it can be a sign of a patronising liberal git. However i know you aint one of this type either,so al i can say is good luck mate.Beware though if you a ever suntanned and America bound!! you could just be mistaken for???? [i have tried the beard as
well a few times over the years,it was shaved because of terminal whingeing
about sensative skin etc]the usual female something to moan about thing.

I have wondered about the advisability of tryingto get into the U.S with the beard.
