For 1500 years since her fall Roman honour has lied in tatters, the barbarian sucessor states still sit within the lands once claimed by this most glorious of empires. Yet a state which failed to outlast the Roman empire (Israel) has been revived along with its previously dead language (Hebrew). Do my fellow forumers think that the Roman Empire can rise again like Israel did? Although there isnt a people as such (even italy and specifically rome are populated by the descendents of germanic peoples) that was actually a strength of the Roman empire. Her ability to absorb many diverse peoples into roman culture was a very big strength (and no this is not multiculturalism, but a melting pot)

Whats your opinion?

The whole Universe, works on the basis of the so called "CYCLES".If 2012,does not happen, perhaps the Roman Empire may rise again!

Im afraid the only empires we will be seeing in the future are the European Union Empire since its on its way to being a superstate.

All empires cost lives and a huge amount of military power and resources. In the long run no empire will survive, as we saw with the Roman Empire and the British Empire.
