church of England 'being sidelined' The Church of England has accused the Government of deliberately favouring Muslims in a drive to encourage interfaith relations. In a confidential document, the Church claims the Government's attempts to integrate minority faiths has backfired, leaving Britain "more separated than ever before". Written by Guy Wilkinson, interfaith advisor to the Archbishop of Canterbury Dr Rowan Williams, the report - which was leaked to the Sunday Telegraph - claims the Church has been "sidelined" and "preferential" treatment has been given to Britain's Muslim community.

Britain is Christian country and has been for centuries. For Blair to destroy our culture and traditions in these ways is disgraceful, he should be ashamed of himself for the disaster he's brought to our beautiful country.

According to sources;
http://www.islamicpopulation.com/america_general.html
muslims only represent 2.5% of the population (2005).
Why then, are a supossedly democratically elected government, that purports to be champions of democracy, bending over backwards to give 2.5% of the population more attention, more rights, more parliamentary time, more consideration, than the 97.5% MAJORITY?
Does this remove the right of Labour to remain calling it's self "democratic"?

9/11, 7/7? Plus the fact that after all the "savings", they just have not got the police to contain mass riots in more than one city at a time.

isnt that basically bending to their will? I would guess that the country as a whole would want to show ppl that threats will not change the way that the country does its business.

Yes. Thats exactly the point.
I would guess that the country as a whole would want to show ppl that threats will not change the way that the country does its business.
Europe seems to have caught a bad case of "appeasement", ie, ignore it, it will go away.
This, coupled with the rabid scramble to be "P.C", and the looney left shouting "rascist" at any one who dares mention that "that little shop on the corner has been bought by Pakistanis", Or any one that points out "that our ecconomic and social systems are at breaking strain NOW, we just can NOT afford to take any more in".
Add to that a police force that is so undermanned, so under recourced, so badly led, so "P.C", that they are unwilling or just unable to do any thing in the face of these threats.
Then we have a VERY dangerous mixture. Where the public are being led like sleep walkers into a VERY different world to the one they THOUGHT they were in.
