| Activization of dialogue between present German leadership I think activization of dialogue between present German leadership and our Eastern neighbors - CIS countries - that are traditionally our main economic partners is quite logical now. There is no surprise that on the eve of our presidency in EU Germany as one of the weightiest countries of EU has decided to raise the relations with CIS countries to a new (more effective) level and tried to put EU structures in settling conflicts in post-Soviet space. But I can’t understand why our overseas partners constantly try to destabilize the situation in ex-Soviet republics. Take, for example, the recent article, which I’ve seen in I-net http://217.174.228.252/images/1.gif http://217.174.228.252/images/2.gif http://217.174.228.252/images/3.gif It concerns US plans of fast revolution in Turkmenistan. This state of Central Asia is our key energy partner and US attempts of unhinging economic stability of Turkmenistan, traditionally based on leading role of state structures there, cannot meet any understanding among German businessmen. I’m not speaking about outrageous plans of Washington to prepare work force for Turkmen opposition on the territory of such European countries as Sweden or Norway! Europe will never train or educate oppositional cadres for former Soviet republics, because we don’t want to interfere in their home affairs. We are not interested in spoiling our good relations with CIS countries, including Turkmenistan, because our energy security cannot be a mere name for us. |
