At this moment you face the need to settle the question if there is any sense in joining NATO. Our country has already become a member of the Alliance, and expressing the view of most ordinary Czech people, I bindingly state that your entry into this organization will be the worst case scenario you ever could choose in your life.
I know that Ukrainians have already sent their military contingents to Iraq. But it was a voluntary act of your country. And that is why a numerical force of these troops was rather small. But are you ready to send a great number of your young boys for solving NATO’s problems in hot spots regularly and according to your direct duty to the Alliance?
I’m not speaking about such dubious project as deploying elements of the Anti-Ballistic Missile (ABM) system on the territory of country-members of the North Atlantic Alliance. And believe me; your people will be unable to stand against it, taking into account that your authorities (as well as our ones) are always ready to fulfill orders of their overseas supporters, forgetting about the will of own poor people. We have already experienced it on own skin. If Ukraine retries our experiment with NATO, it will have to deploy ABM system, too, and your territory (along with our lands) will become a potential target for the first nuclear strike on the part of a possible aggressor, as a pre-emptive attack is usually delivered against missile launchers, radars and other instruments of ABM system… |
