Turkey

As many will know Turkey is a nation that may be joining the European Union. Of course the ramifications of this nation joining the europe are massive, the large numbers of migrants, its sheer geography and the multi-cultural atmosphere that the joining would create are all issues that need to be taken into account. As well as this the issues turkey themselves have with drought in its agricultural prime and their own stance to the conflicts in the middle east. Do the economic, military and social positives outweigh the negatives. Would turkey joining the EU help bridge the gap between the west and the middle east or would it simply make more issues in the europe we know??

Please add negatives and positives, keep it civil and open minded whilst putting across your views, no drivell please. Enjoy
