Basically, someone has been placing huge bets on the market crashing in mid-September. Crashing bigtime.

A lot of these traders are discussing what is going on.

The consensus appears to be either;

1. China is dumping on the market due to the recent sub-prime losses.

2. An international bank is trying to raise funds desperately for the short term for the same reason.

3. There is the likelihood of a very serious terrorist attack.

The same type of bets are being placed, in the same time periods in US, EU and Japanese markets.
