PLENTY SCUM AND SLIME,BUT NO PUNNISHMENT !!!.

Every Paper we pick up these days,always seems to have some ghastly tale
about some cowardly brute.Who has had the nerve and the temerity to bash
some poor old age Pensioners Skull in,generally for the sake of a few quid and
some nearly worthless memento's have begun to think that the reason for
these Burglars and Street Muggers,who are now willing to Kill rather than run
away when the Pensioner confronts them.The reason must lie in the Deterrent
-s with which this scum now get's sentenced to.The life of a Pensioner or
even a young Kid no longer seems warrant a proper sentence.This is no call
for the restoration of the Death penalty,I just happen to think "Life" should
mean "Life" and some some six or seven stretch,the release.The sentencing
in this Country has reached the point where the thug is the one who will
benefit from the Penal Procedure.I will give an example.

Should a Burglar be in someones House when they either
return,or even much worse theyWake up through the noise he has been makin
-g,or worse still they have deliberately woken the householder and threatened
them with violence if they do not produce some valubles.This was once known
as (Aggravated Burglary) which carried a five stretch for starters!!!.There he
is then holding a weapon against some Old Womans face and demanding some
money.Should things get out of hand and he does hit the victim,the calculati
-ons change.Because now in the thugs mind he might as well go further and
batter her to death,because once the violence has entered the situation all
bets are off.So now the thug starts flapping and thinking,he might as well do
the full job as with no witnesses present (at least none who would speak up
for the victim).Self preservation creeps in ,also he knows that at worst he will
get Life in Prison,and let's face it what exactly does that mean these days??.
Normally the convicted thug would do about six to eight years,which is not
too bad from his point of view,any-way he might just might get away with it
altogether.

Alas our hero gets caught and he has to face the "Full"
fury of the Law as it now stands,the Prisons remember are full up crammed.
Also unlike the poor victim this shithouse has a Queens Councillor to speak up
for him,this Educated brief will tell the Court all about the thugs formative
years.Where his Mother never learned him how to wipe his arse propper,and
how he was picked on because he never started taking hard drugs until he
was ten years old Blah Blah Blah.There is nobody to speak up for the victim
except their utterly devastated family.Guilty comes the verdict,the Judge has
to by Law pass a mandatory Life sentence,the Victims family feel fairly happy
as the Thug will spend the rest of his natural life in Prison,they give interviews
outside the Court saying "Justice" has been satisfied.Unbeknown to them the
Judge sets a Tarriff where he states the Thug must spend only Six years in
Jail.five years counting the time he did on Remand.

Surely this situation must stop,the punnishment must fit
the crime.As I have said I personally do think there is a place for the Death
penalty,in cases like Ian Huntley that worthless ******* should Hang no doubt.However when stories like the one above come to light (and there are
at least one per week) all we seem to do is mention it and then forget it.I do
think it's high time for a big change in the law,to prevent these Killers getting
out so early.Some of them have gotten out and killed again for Gods sake!!
Enough is enough now isn't it ????.
