| End of the Commonwealth? Australia has just been declared as Labour after John Howard has lost his parliamentary seat. He is the second australian Prime Minister to have lost his seat at an election. Mr Howard lost his seat to a former tv presenter. However, the Labour party manifesto is to campaign for republicanism and abandon the Queen as their head of state, and Canada and New Zealand are set to do the same as well. Could this be the end of the commonwealth and what once was our great empire? Socialism truly does destroy countries.      |
