Isnt it time for Birtie Ahern to resign ?

Following all the recent claims and counter claims by the tribunal on the irish prime minister isn't it time for him to go and save his fianna fail paliamentary party in ireland and give the power to his next man in power who has been tipped to take over from him and save his part (brian cowen td) ?
