| Argentina bid to snatch The Falklands The country's new president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner will assert her country's claim on the islands at a conference of world leaders, including Gordon Brown, in the UK. The visit will come just days after the anniversary of Argentina's Falklands invasion on April 2, 1982.
