In one of the threads, Hestia and I were arguing about the state of the current Arab so called leaders, personally I don’t view those people as leaders, since they lack the basics that qualify them to be leaders. I went back to some of the lectures I took during a leadership course at university, and I chose some aspects regarding leadership and leaders: Ronald Heifetz (1994) provides a challenge: “imagine the difference in behavior when people operate with the idea that leadership means influencing the community to follow the leader’s vision versus “leadership means influencing the community to face its problems”. Kouzes and Posner (2002) talk of leaders as the one who enable others to act. Leadership is socially-oriented and consultation from subordinates. ...

Last night the occupation forces declared a unileteral cease-fire leaving their troops in Gaza, saying that if Hamas lunched any rockets the response will be aggressive! What do they call the actions that took place during the last 3 weeks! What about Olmert claiming to have empathy with Gaza citizens! With this so called empathy more than 1000 innocent people were murdered and more than 4000 were injured!!! What would happen if Olmert didn't have this so called empathy!!! Hamas on the other hand declared a cease-fire today giving the occupation forces a week to get out of Gaza. so is this a real cease-fire, or is it just a trap or is it a break till the next battle ( or shell i say slaughter, massacre, crime...) starts! what about Gaza citizens, will they have any of the basic ...

The so called war against terrorism started after 11 september, but terrorism is not something new, and it's important to defferentiate between real Muslims and terrorists, people like Ben Laden and other people in taliban share believes with wahabbiyyah who are also terrorists, but those do not represent Islam and they don't represent more than billion Muslims who live today in different regions. The history of Muslims reveals many wars that Muslims had against terrorists, like wahhabiyyah, and in this link you can read in details about those wars and how Islam is against terrorism: http://www.sunna.info/antiwahabies/w...tm/History.htm
according to piaget's cognitive development theory the "object permanence" occurs between the fourth and eighth months of the sensorimotor stage (infants and toddlers),according to piaget prior to this point the phrase “out of sight, out of mind” is literally true, where infants leave their field of vision as if they no long exist. HOWEVER, for some people it seems as if their cognitive development didn't reach this point in which they realize that just because you don't see something it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. One of the incidents that I was told took place in a school, where the teacher was asking the students: do you see me? Yes! Then I exist. Do you see the window? Yes! Then the window exists. So one of the students said do you see the teacher's brain? NO! Then ...
Did you know that in 1980, the United States provided encouragement, weapons, satellite, and funding for late president Saddam’s invasion of Iran? Did you know that president Saddam never attacked the United States, nor even threatened to do so? The war against Iraq is a demonstration for the U.S. administration’s terrorism. But the question is, if the war was targeted because of president Saddam’s hunger for WMDs, why Iraq? Bush never explained why Iraq had to be invaded, even though more than thirty countries had greater WMD capability at that time. On sept.30 2005 Rice declared that the Iraq war was "set out to help the people of the Middle East transform their societies.” Yes, the war did transform our societies. Death rates did increase. Where the Estimated ...
