Exclamation Mission accomplished in Henley! BNP beat Labour!

'Labour come fifth behind the BNP' was the headline in the papers all across the country, which surely had Gordon Brown crying into his Coco Pops...

This was the BNPs first attempt in the area yet still managed to beat Labour.

Full results:
Conservative - John Howell 19,796 56.7% (+3.2)
Liberal Democrat - Stephen Kearney 9,680 27.7% (+1.7)
Green - Mark Stevenson 1,321 3.8% (+0.5)
British National Party - Tim Rait 1,243 3.6% (+3.6)
Labour - Richard McKenzie 1,066 3.1% (-11.6)
UK Independence - Chris Adams 843 2.4% (-0.1)
Monster Raving Loony - Bananaman Owen 242 0.7% N/A
English Democrats - Derek Allpass 157 0.4% N/A
Independent - Amanda Harrington 128 0.4% N/A
Common Good - Dick Rodgers 121 0.3% N/A
Independent - Louise Cole 91 0.3% N/A
Fur Play Party - Harry Bear 73 0.2% N/A

This is proof that traditional Labour support is now breaking up, out of often old long-held allegiances, and holds great promise for the BNP all over the country.

Political change is in the air. The failure of UKIP and the English Democrats, often built up by the media as some sort of ‘alternative’ to the BNP, clearly shows that when voters are dissatisfied with the political establishment, and are looking for a pro-British party, they opt for the BNP.

A big well done to Tim Rait and all those involved in the election.

Video of the build up to the polls being opened, and results being announced. (BNPtv)
