| Forced integration to replace voluntary multiculturalism "Diversity is Dead - Long Live Diversity!" This is the apparently confused message from Communities Secretary Ruth Kelly on the launch of the Commission on Integration and Cohesion. The message would be far less confused if the slogan reflected the real mindset behind this latest New Labour social and genetic engineering project: "Voluntary, Financially Assisted Multi-Culturalism is Dead - Long Live Forced Integration!" That multi-culturalism has failed is now almost universally understood. As Ms Kelly herself announced, the old consensus about the rosy multi-cult garden has been replaced by open acknowledgement of concerns about ethnic tensions, alienation and resentment. In place of the Politically Correct fantasies which dominated the political and media establishment for several decades, New Labour is now calling for an "honest and open debate." Yet, at the same time, Kelly's talk of "countering the challenge from the far-right" and implicit condemnation of the 'racism', and indeed very existence, of Middle England ("those most frightened by change are those least affected by it...... even faster change in future, etc") make it clear that any such 'debate' will be held within extremely tightly-defined boundaries. The Commission invites all views, but will only listen to those it wants to hear. The entire process - whereby an isolated, ideologically driven, incestuous 'elite' condemns some of the consequences and methods of its failed social engineering project, while simultaneously seeking new ways to advance the very same agenda - is uncannily reminiscent of the Glasnost period in the last couple of years of the Soviet Union. The only real difference is that Gorbachev was a smart political operator and a man who exuded confidence and competence, whereas Ruth Kelly might just about be able to hack it as a Religious Studies teacher in a well-run secondary school in rural Perthshire. If Gorby couldn't 'reform' and save Soviet egalitarianism, then what chance does a lightweight like Ruth have of finding solutions to the fatal contradictions inherent in the multi-cultural shambles created by her friends? Forced integration We can safely predict that, by the time the Commission issues its full report and recommendations next June, talk of 'open debate' will be replaced by the most totalitarian social engineering project ever undertaken in a Western democracy. On top of US-style forced bussing of schoolchildren we're going to get massive taxpayer-funding of integration projects and 'moderate' Islam, ethnic employment quotas in surviving homogeneous indigenous areas, propaganda drives against 'separatism' and democratically expressed concern about the impact of mass immigration, a concerted campaign to forcibly integrate working class estates and new-build middle class housing developments, and whole new tranches of integrationist indoctrination in school curricula and the media. Finally, because forced integration on this scale will produce enormous resentment and potential political resistance, these moves will go hand-in-hand with full-scale state funding of political parties together with cynical restrictions designed to exclude the BNP. The aim of all this is two-fold: a) To try to head-off the looming race relations disaster being created by the Clash of Civilisations and mass East European immigration at a time of growing economic instability, and b) To use what appears to be back-tracking criticism of multi-culturalism as a weapon to actually speed up the process by which traditional British identity is destroyed. This is what Commission 'Chair' Darra Singh is getting at when he says that "it needs to work in rural Gloucestershire as well as northern mill towns .... integration is not just an issue for ethnic minorities". It's what Ruth Kelly means when she states that the Commission "must meet challenges head on" and be "a catalyst for even faster change." Far from taking heart at hints of a new realism among the social engineering liberal 'elite', the 'ordinary', overtaxed, disenfranchised, utterly ignored English, Scots, Irish and Welsh need to understand that the threat to our identities, our tax bills and our children's birthright just got a whole lot worse. Tory commitment The Tories' Damien Green was interviewed on TV straight after the launch and said that he hopes the Commission succeeds. Those floating voters who are looking with hope at the Conservative's recent bit of tough-talking over the scab labour threat from Bulgaria and Romania need to take note of this: The Tories are every bit as committed to the multi-racial destruction of Britain in general and England in particular as are New Labour. David Cameron's party has given its full backing to Ruth Kelly's initial proposals to deal with the failure of largely voluntary multi-culturalism by forcing integration on unwilling communities. It won't work, of course. In fact, the scope for voluntary, informal separation under the old way of muddling through is probably the only thing that has stopped the whole sorry mess exploding in really serious inter-communal violence already. Integration between entire communities is so fundamentally alien to human nature that forcing it with anything less than Soviet-era repression and brutality will inevitably lead to open conflict. Perhaps the timid school-teacher Ruth Kelly and the career bureaucrat Darra Singh understand this and will design their blueprint for the new coffee-coloured Utopia accordingly. More likely, they haven't got a clue about the strength of the forces they are preparing to unleash on our unfortunate society. The road to Hell is famously paved with good intentions. Whatever your intentions, Ruth, we'll see you there. That's a prediction from the people who foresaw the unworkability of multi-culturalism decades ago - unlike Kelly et al, we've got a track record of getting these things right. We have all been warned. The only question now is whether enough people will get off their backsides quickly enough to turn things around properly before it's too late. http://www.bnp.org.uk/news_detail.php?newsId=1106
