On Saturday 23rd of September Boston Holbeach and Spalding BNP fielded two teams of activists in the area. A union flag bedecked stand was set up on Holbeach main street to sell Voice of Freedom, manned by the local organiser and fundholder, while a second team of leafleters covered the surrounding residential areas.
The response was phenomenal, with over half the monthly supply of VoF being sold in less than three hours. Many local people expressed their pleasure at seeing the BNP out in the open to "speak up for them" and after buying the paper (In some cases two copies - "one for me mate" or "one for me mum") wanted to know if the BNP would be standing in the local elections next year and assured the BNP of their votes when they were told they would be.
Copies were even sold to motorists through car windows as they queued at the trafficlights. The second team of leafleters distributed over 1200 leaflets simultaneously during what was a very hot day.
The day was such a success that we will be carrying out similar activities in other local towns shortly said a BNP spokesperson. So it's onward and upward for the Lincs BNP........
