| Everyone can vote BNP on May 3rd Every voter in Wales and Scotland will have the opportunity to vote for the BNP on May 3rd in the devolved Assembly and Parliamentary elections respectively.
In the past two weeks BNP teams have received floods of enquiries and messages from voters across England who are disappointed and upset that they do not have a BNP candidate to vote for in their own local authority wards. The standard reply to these enquiries is one of self-help, if you want a candidate to vote for in the next local authority contest find a suitable person and get organising now.
However it is clear that many voters are planning to vote BNP even in wards which do not have a tangible declared candidate. Many voters are planning to spoil their ballot paper by writing “BNP” above all the other candidates’ names and putting a cross alongside. While these phantom candidates will not be able to take up office it will send a strong wave of protest to the three mainstream parties, which are in reality three heads of the same beast. The number of spoilt ballot papers is declared by the returning officer at each count and it would be a tremendous result if the number of spoiled ballots exceeded that of any of the Old Gang trio in wards across England.
It is no less a waste of a vote than any flawed tactical voting for Lab,Lib-Dem and Con candidates and is far more effective at expressing the mistrust and disgust at the status quo.
So spread the word – everyone can vote BNP on May 3rd! |
