| John Rowe, The British National Party's cadidate for Rosegrove with Lowerhouse ward in Burnley has won his high court battle for a recount of the May the 3rd ballot. Originally the BNP won the seat by two votes. A recount then reduced this to one vote. A spoilt Labour vote was then included in the vote, after The Returning Officer Steve Rumbelow was bullied by Labour activists. Labour were then declared the winner on drawing ballots!?
