"the Labour party's traditional voters are turning in significant numbers to the BNP"

    Andrew Green:
"It is ironic that MacShane's call for a non-toxic immigration debate should be laced with innuendo and slurs. Those who disagree with his views are repeatedly linked with the BNP and racism. Indeed, his "anti-racist" rant neatly illustrates why the Labour party's traditional voters are turning in significant numbers to the BNP. His arrogant disregard for their concerns, shared by some 70-80% of the population, can only add to their frustration and confirm their growing conviction that much of the political class is as deaf as a post".

Ive never heard anyone critisize Mr Green, a very credible man.

You've done it again "newspresenter" - you've presented olds as news! Quite clearly immigration is a problem in so far as the majority of the population does seem to rate it highly as an issue, that does not mean that everyone of those voters is going to migrate to the BNP and unless you get your head round that you are going to be one very disappointed little boy come May.

I have (some people weren't very happy with the nature of evangelical meetings he held when a diplomat in Riyadh - what's that about adopting cultures...)! Although personally I quite like him and I think he is the sort of reasonable voice the Tories should be representing when it comes to immigration and multiculturalism.

If i don't believe the BNP will get an MP in may, does that mean you think i'll be disapointed?
