I know, I know "don't revive old threads", but if you can't break the rules as a mod every now and then what's the point?
Thought I'd try and revive this as some of us seem to be overheating a little recently.
    Enjoy!!!!!!

Like that one, almost as good as the real thing
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised 'for the good of its victims' may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us 'for our own good' will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." -- C.S. Lewis

I find classical music to be a good stress relief, especially as I am off work at the moment with stress related problems. And man Richard Meyrick is one of my favourites, I have met him and watched him live, watching this magician at work is incredible. YouTube - Rakoczy March - Liszt trans Horowitz: Richard Meyrick
At a time when we're having to take such difficult decisions about how to cut back without damaging the things that matter the most, we should strain every sinew to cut error, waste and fraud.

You will feel the full force of the law and if you are old enough to commit these crimes you are old enough to face the punishments. And to these people I would say this: you are not only wrecking the lives of others, you are potentially wrecking your own life too.

Classical is good. I often use it to mellow down.
But right now, I feel rotten. Ear and head ache and a sore throat. Stressed as can be. The best therapy will be my fortnight off over Christmas... Can't wait.

Some say we make our own stress!!!!

Never heard of a real worker complainin about stress, always seems to be those in overpaid easy and safe jobs that you could train a ferrett or a large breed of dog to perform.

No stress in any of them stressfull jobs its just the people who do em who feel the need to invent a reason for their hugly inflated incomes.

    Analogies are us comes along:

Once on a night shift at a mental hospital the nursing staff were watching the snooker on the telly(its what they do in stressfull jobs in the NHS).

One of the players was about to play a win or lose shot.

"Pressure shot says one of the nurses"

The other answered " if he gets it he wins a hundred thousand pounds, if he loses he wins fifty grand, if you give a patient the wrong medcine he dies. Now where is the pressure?"?

    Get the picture?

What a stupid thing to post, suggesting murder. Was it supposed to be funny?

I am told that Gregorian Chant music is supposed to be very relaxing.

    Happy

It looks like my trouble could be sorted out by next wednesday, and I could be back to work on the thursday. I am hoping my stress levels will return to normal just as quickly, unlike the posters to this thread seems to be raising their levels so here are a couple of pieces to reduce your levels.

Not exactly what comes to mind when I think of "stress relief" Lucy.
I wonder why the things that should be so simple, so natural... like loving someone and letting them see into your heart... should require so much courage?
