I would feel guilty about any damage to fellow members' monitors. As stated previously, I'm not so easy on the eyes. Trust me, you'd wish I hadn't.

Well, I don't suppose we'll get anywhere if no-one goes first, and much as I hate having my picture taken, here's a fairly decent one - not that I was considering posting any indecent ones you understand - and if anyone sniggers, they'll vanish as quickly as they appeared So come on now, I'm not going to be all alone here am I?

I think that Tantal and Op ought to really post photos :P

For the record, I never actually wore my hair that way. It was generally in a pony-tail. Mrs. Tantal just got me coming out of the shower.

I was doing undercover work at the time. Now, I'm back in uniform. I'm clean-shaven and have the standard military-type haircut. Besides, it gets really hot in Texas....over 100 degrees (Fahrenheit, or course) for months on end. The long hair gets old pretty quick in that kind of heat.

Very nice. I'm a big fan of long, dark, natural-looking hair. I must say though that you look more Spanish or Italian than Arab.

I do actually hate having my photo taken, more often than not I'll even turn away when I see people taking pictures of me at social events, and that particular shot was one taken with a bit of coercion in a studio when I was waiting for my step-daughter after some modelling job or other she'd been on. So yes, I was a somewhat uncomfortable and it does show slightly; the slight soft-focus is probably what LA is talking about. But no, my eyes don't lie, I am usually a kind person, unless someone rubs me badly up the wrong way that is, then all hell can break loose!!

But LA, I do notice a very conspicuous absence of your own picture for us to pull apart at our leisure! At least I put mine up, warts and all, so come on, no more excuses.

If the image itself is in a 'public' part of Facebook it should quite safe to link directly to it. Anyone who might try to follow the link back to the page it was on will be asked to log in to Facebook anyway, and if they're not authorised by the particular account holder they won't be able to backtrack any further.

Best to just check in a preview page first though; better safe than sorry.
