Hung parliaments are never a good thing as there's always uncertainty and no clear mandate for pushing though the economic reforms we need. As things stand right now, of the two likely options a Conservative / Lib Dem coalition is likely to be the most beneficial for the country, although I've got a feeling that it would be hamstrung when it came to making some of the major decisions which are needed if we're to even start to make inroads into the financial mess that Labour have put us in.

The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us 'for our own good' will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." -- C.S. Lewis

I am undecided since I have never lived through one before but I suspect that it will be good in some ways (you wont have one party steamrollering it's own agenda through unopposed) and bad in others (Lack of clear direction).

I would prefer a non Labour coalition.

People who voted for Lib Dem as protest vote against labour, but didn't want a Tory goverment must be ashamed, because Lib Dems are trading Ideology for power.
With no one party in power it might be the right time for governmental reform as one of them doesn't have a direct interest in stopping change.
