Were you convinced by the Tory leader or did you think his conference speech was a load of hot air?

His policy speech had a definite thumbs down from Bank of England officials and economists in his proposal to stop quantitative easing.

David Blanchflower the bank monetary policy committee quote " the most dangerous economic proposal for 100 years"

Roger Bootle economics adviser to Accountants Deloitte says " there is nothing to convince me that we are on stable path to growth"

Some have accused the Tories of having no idea about economics and that their proposals would throw us headlong into depression.

Tory policy theatens the possiblity of soup kitchens

Further to Tory policy to fight the recession David Blanchflower also pointed out their ideas from an economists point of could mean the introduction of soup kitchens to feed the unemployed it implemented. This policy could be the shortest suicide note in history. Where was Ken Clarke when it was being drawn up, or has he sold his soul for the sake of party unity?
