Hi,
The Vapid Camelion puppeting the job of Leader of the Blue Labour for the Tri.Lats. may well have featured on the front page of 'This Week' but I was pleased to receive a copy of a letter from a friend of mine who had for MANY years been a Tory branch Chairman which shows there are many who have seen through the sham!
Dear Mr. Cameron,
I thank you for your very personally addressed letter of the 8th March
2010.
As I have pointed out more than once before you only write to me when
you want my money. Otherwise you never reply to my letters of even
acknowledge them.
When I was a Branch Chairman, in your early days as
leader of the party, you did sometimes have Alice Sheffield, your
sister-in-law, send me a stereotype reply that never fully addressed my
concerns but nowadays not even this token courtesy.
I see on the expensively produced full colour A3 sheet you sent me the
photograph of the Shadow Secretary of State for Business right next to
your photograph is Mr Kenneth Clarke. Can any Conservative possibly
forget that this is the man so fanatically committed to the emerging
European Soviet that he sat on a podium together with Heseltine,
alongside Robin Cook, Tony Blair and Charles Kennedy to exhort the
country to adopt Economic and Monetary Union, and exchanging the pound
sterling for the euro.
You claim to wish to repatriate powers from the
EU but appoint men like this to your team. You gave a cast iron
guarantee you would give the country a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty.
When you reneged I wrote to you concluding "No referendum, No Vote".
To this I must now regretfully add "Vote Blue - Get EU".
I am a 'dyed in the wool' Conservative but sadly find "Nu-Tory"
indistinguishable from "Nu-Labour" in all essentials.
If the election results in a 'hung parliament' more and more
economists suggest this could be the best outcome to sort out the
financial crisis created by Gordon Brown as no party on its own would
have the strength to take on the vested interests.
Nevertheless I thank you for keeping me in touch with the party I and
my wife have worked hard for in the past and helped fund.
Yours sincerely,
****REDACTED****
PS I am emailing this copy in case, as I suspect, my letter does not
get passed to you and am copying to my local MPs and other local
Conservatives.
It will not surprise you that I have solicited the support of my friends to consider:
INDEPENDENT Leave-the-EU Alliance as it is clear that Party politics has betrayed them very personally as well as the electorate and country at large.
Clearly the INDEPENDENT Leave-the-EU Alliance concept is an idea whose time has come.
There can be no surprise that besides The INDEPENDENT Leave-the-EU Alliance other similar concepts are burgeoning, though none with the clarity offered by INDEPENDENT Leave-the-EU Alliance which is designed to deliver exactly what it states on the label!
You may also have noticed that timeously Vernon Colman has produced an excellent small book advocating nearly exactly the position of INDEPENDENT Leave-the-EU Alliance and has contacted us offering support and assistance, which has been readily and gratefully accepted.

Greg L-W.
