Two hilarious Tory nutters from the Sun invade the Indy offices in foul rant

James Murdoch and Rebekah Brooks stormed into The Independents offices in a foul mouthed protest about the headline in the Independent Quote: "Rupert Murdoch Won't Decide The Election- You Will" In the best laugh I've had for a long time. With a history of viciously impugning political adversities over the years these two clowns had the gaul to accuse Kelner [editor of the Indie] of impugning our family name and shouted you're a "f****** f***wit".

It seems that With the leader's TV debates, the Sun and other newspapers are becoming more irrelevant in affecting the peoples choice of our parties leading politicians. The Sun's influence is sinking below the horizon.

It's a brilliant story. Rebekah Brooks is such a COW and Murdoch Jnr is worse than his dad - a 24 carat right-wing ****. Imagine the arrogance which made them behave like that. NB it was Rebekah Brooks who allegedly beat up Spud Face from EastEnders!

Wade became engaged to actor Ross Kemp (best known as Grant Mitchell in EastEnders) in 1996. They married in June 2002 in Las Vegas.[20] On 3 November 2005, it was reported that Wade had been arrested following an alleged assault on her husband.

Is this a wind up? I can't believe they'd actually do that. How can they not see that it'd just make them look ridiculous and bullying. Mhhh! Perhaps that's not something they worry about

Exactly my reaction when I first heard. The brass-necked arrogance! A plausible explanation for their behaviour here from Michael Wolff, Murdoch Snr's biographer.

Later in the afternoon, in a coming-apart-at-the-seams scenario, Rebekah Wade/Brooks and Murdoch’s son, James—who will both face the wrath of Murdoch senior if they don’t produce a winner—stormed over to the Independent, breached its security systems, barged into the offices of the Independent’s editor-in-chief and top executive, Simon Kelner, and commenced, in Brit-speak, a giant row. Their point was that newspaper publishers don’t slag off other newspaper publishers in polite Britain, but also the point was to remind Kelner that he wasn’t just slagging off another publisher, he was slagging off the Murdochs, damn it. Indeed, the high point of the screaming match was Wade/Brooks, in a fit of apoplexy and high drama, neck muscles straining, saying to Kelner: “And I invited you to Blenheim in the first place!” Blenheim being the Murdoch family retreat and the highest social destination for all Murdoch loyalists and ambitious Brits in the media.

This is one way for empires to end.
Amusingly, the Independent's in deep trouble. It loses money hand over fist and has just been bought by a former KGB officer (I kid you not) and is preparing a re-launch. Murdoch Jnr and Wade have, effectively, just helped re-launch it. How the Indie hacks are laughing. Murdoch and Wade have probably just saved their jobs.
