Cameron admits referendum woe

‘Cameron admits referendum woe‘ says the headline in today’s Sun. What a load of cobblers! Cameron is just playing silly B’s pretending that he’s upset that it may be impossible to hold a referendum once the Lisbon Treaty has been accepted by Parliament.
The Tories, took us into the EU. Ever since, the Tories have continued to strengthen the hold of Brussels at every opportunity. Did anyone seriously believe that they would give the people a referendum if they formed the next government?
No way would the Tories do anything to risk fracturing the EU project, now or in the future. The parliamentary Tory Party is no longer a conservative party it is a left/liberal Quisling party and can never, ever be trusted to protect British interests.
Take a look at the Sun’s article and see just how Cameron seeks to say, I would have given you a referendum, but ……………………………….!!!!
David Cameron has admitted he may never be able to fulfil his promise of a referendum on Europe.
The Tory leader warned Labour could have signed away power to Brussels BEFORE he gets into 10 Downing Street.
He says it would then be too late to throw the changes into reverse.
Gordon Brown wants the EU Treaty, which surrenders swathes of power to Brussels, to be rushed through Parliament before the election in 18 months to two years.
Peers will attempt to delay the PM’s handover in a series of crucial votes in the Lords next week.
But Mr Cameron admitted it would be “almost impossible” to have a referendum if it was already law in the UK and the rest of the EU.
He told an audience in Harlow, Essex: “We may have to say, well look, we’re not happy with this situation, here are some of the powers we’d like to have back.

“But we can’t give you that referendum on the Lisbon Treaty because it’s already been put in place across the rest of Europe.”

Tory peers’ leader Lord Strathclyde vowed yesterday to force the Government to “think again” over its broken manifesto promise to hold a referendum.
He said: “Trust in politics is very low. Many people feel betrayed that they were promised a vote by all parties but Labour and the Lib Dems have since broken their word.
“No major transfer of power should be made without the prior approval of the British people.”

So there you have it peeps if you vote in the Conservatives at the next general election you will not be allowed a referendum on the EU, which is basically the same stance that both Labour and the Lib Dems take.
Once again the undemocratic elite in the Lib/Lab/Con strike again totally ignoring the wishes of the British electorate on a subject which is vitally important to this country's independence.
This will lose the Tories a lot of votes.........
