Harriet Harman found support from a surprising quarter within Parliament with regard to the bill to discriminate against male employment, Ms Theresa May who said ‘I look forward to working constructively with them on ensuring that we have workable and practical legislation to provide for a fair society.’

HH replied ‘I thank the right honourable lady for her broad welcome for the package and for our endeavours. I also welcome the fact that she has ignored the cries from her own backbenchers that the proposals are rubbish.’
