Boris Johnson's chatty/comic witterings in th DT

Incase any of you weren't already aware, Boris Johnson is writing a dinner-party chat-style column in the Daily Telegraph.

My Tesco boycott was over the minute he spied those doughnuts - Telegraph

The commentors have raised an interesting debate; should we laud Mr Johnson for using his free time to introduce himself, the friendly, witty writer, to the public. Or should he sodding well get on with it?
