Thumbs up Cameron 'pushing voters to BNP and Ukip'

David Cameron risks becoming a "recruiting agent" for extremist parties because of his failure to offer voters "robust" conservative policies, according to one of his senior backbenchers.

Edward Leigh, co-chairman of the Cornerstone group of socially conservative MPs, will today dismiss the statement of values set out in Mr Cameron's high-profile Built To Last document as "vague" and "bland".
